BENEFITS & CONTRA-INDICATIONS OF BRUSHING TEETH

 Oral hygiene should be attended to, by cleaning teeth with good quality,soft tipped herbal brushes of approx 9 inches in length & diameter of the tip of one's little finger. Oral hygiene is inevitable for the maintenance of proper health. Plants used should be either of astringent,acrid or bitter tastes. The teeth may be brushed at dawn and after every meal. While brushing,care should be taken not to hurt the gums. Material of sweet,salty and sour tastes are not advised for brushing teeth,as these may cause decay of denture, especially enamel, if continuously used.
