IMPORTANCE OF URINATION ACCORDING TO AYURVEDA

•URINE FORMATION IS BLOOD CLEANSING FUNCTION.

•NORMAL URINARY OUTPUT IS ABOUT 1-1.5 L/DAY.

•SUPPRESSION OF URGE OF URINE RESULTS IN TIREDNESS OF BODY PARTS AND PAIN IN URINARY BLADDER.

•SOMETIMES DUE TO SUPPRESSION OF URINE, DISEASE MAY OCCUR.

•TREATMENT DUE TO SUPPRESSION OF URINE ARE AVAILABLE IN AYURVEDA.

•URGE TO VOID URINE IS NATURAL PHENOMENON.

•WHEN WE AGAIN AND AGAIN HOLD THE URINE THEN URINARY BLADDER ADAPTED TO HOLD URINE FOR LONG TIME.

•URINE FORMATION IS CONTINUOUS PROCESS THAT OCCURS AT THE KIDNEY.

•URINE CONTAINS MANY TYPES OF WASTES, SO NEED TO EXCRETE AT REGULAR INTERVAL OF TIME.

*COMPOSITION OF URINE

1.WATER = 95%
2.SALTS   = 2%
3.UREA.   = 2.7%
4.OTHER MATERIAL = 0.3%
•URINE IS PALE YELLOW IN COLOUR DUE TO PRESENCE OF PIGMENTS.
•NORMAL URINE IS SLIGHTLY ACIDIC (PH=6.0).
•MANY TIME'S WE ARE NOT AT A PARTICULAR PLACE TO SEEKING PEE. IN THIS CONDITION IT IS MUST TO HOLD IT UNTIL GET TO COMFORTABLE PLACE.
•WHENEVER BODY GIVES SIGNAL FOR NATURAL URGE THEN LEFT ALL WORK AND GIVE PRIORITY FOR NATURAL PHENOMENON.
•ACCORDING TO AYURVEDA, DON'T SUPPRESS URINE FORCIBLY OTHERWISE IT LEADS TO SEVERE COMPLICATIONS IN URINARY SYSTEM.
•DUE TO SUPPRESSION BODY'S NORMAL PHYSIOLOGY DISTURB.
•TRT TO AVOID HOLDING URINE FOR LONG TIME OTHERWISE IT ADVERSELY IMPACT YOUR KIDNEY.
•IN WINTER SEASON URINE FREQUENCY INCREASE DUE TO HORMONAL VARIATION AND ALSO IN WINTER SEASON BODY NEED LESS AMOUNT OF WATER SO EXTRA FLUID EXCRETE OUT THROUGH URINATION.
•IN SUMMER SEASON BODY NEEDS A LOT OF WATER SO BODY CONSERVE AS MUCH WATER THAT WE CAN DRINK, SO IT IS ADVISED BY DOCTORS TO DRINK 2-3 LITRE OF WATER A DAY.

Reduced consciousness: Altered state of awareness, decreased responsiveness to surroundings.    2. Relaxed muscles: Decreased muscle tone, reduced movement.    3. Lower body temperature: Slight drop in body temperature.    4. Slower breathing: Decreased respiratory rate.    5. Decreased heart rate: Lower heart rate and blood pressure.    6. Increased parasympathetic activity: Dominance of the parasympathetic nervous system, promoting relaxation.    7. Distinct brain wave patterns: Unique patterns of brain activity, including slow oscillations, delta waves, and REM sleep.  Sleep serves essential functions, including:   1. Restoration: Physical and mental rejuvenation.   2. Memory consolidation: Processing and strengthening memories.   3. L...

Ascites case study

Ascites  Abnormal build-up of the fluid in the abdominal cavity is termed as Ascites. It can occur due to various underlying reasons, such as liver disease (cirrhosis being the most common cause), heart failure, cancer, kidney disease, or infection. Here's an outline of a hypothetical case study on ascites: Patient Profile: - Name: Mr. John - Age: 55 year - Sex: Male - Occupation: Retired accountant - Medical History: Hypertension, type 2 diabetes mellitus, and chronic alcohol use for the past 20 years. Presenting Complaint: Mr. John presents to the emergency department with complaints of progressive abdominal distension and increasing discomfort over the past few weeks. He reports difficulty breathing when lying flat and significant weight gain despite poor appetite. Clinical Examination: - General: Patient appears lethargic, with signs of moderate distress due to dyspnea. - Abdomen: Distended abdomen with a fluid wave on percussion. No signs of tenderness or peritoneal signs. - C...
